I understand that safety is the number-one concern for parents. All staff is thoroughly screened, including a criminal-background check, and approved by the State of New York before hiring.
About Me
My area of strength is making children feel comfortable in my program. Whether a child is new to childcare outside the home or if they are transitioning from another setting, it is my goal to meet them where they are and work to devise a method to integrate into the program and make them feel secure and comfortable with me, my daycare environment/layout and other children in my care. Some may make a smooth transition while others may need additional attention at first as I join them in play and other activities to familiarize them with their new surrounding.
Communicating with familes what their child is learning during daycare as well as the activities they show interest and strength in is an opportunity for the family to extend the learning and become more involved with their child while at home.
